2022 marked a HUGE milestone for us here at DMS… As at 27th August 2022 we have been trading for 30 years, all from our store in Watford. It was back in 1992 that our doors first opened and we have been blessed to meet some great customers and indeed made many fantastic friends in that time too.

We have seen lots of changes in that past 30 years, brands have come and gone, new race classes have emerged as well as old ones dropping off, technology has improved in leaps and bounds too…

Multitudes of customers, old and new, numerous staff members (mostly good although recently some really bad too) various sales reps and delivery guys have all been through our doors…

2023 also marked another massive milestone for us too, as we saw the last customer to simply walk-through our Watford store door to simply browse as we move into a new and exciting era for the business and have relocated our operation from what has been our “home” for the past 30 years.

From now onwards we will be operating as primarily an online only entity, allowing us to concentrate all of our efforts on our fast and efficient mail order service, which formed the overwhelming majority of our business already, but since the pandemic has become an even larger portion than ever before…. Fear not however, we are still offering Store Collection from the shop, where by appointment you can collect your orders still in person at selected appointment times.

Whilst we are sad to say goodbye to the store as our base and home, we are also extremely excited for the future and looking forward to what the next chapter in our history will bring.

We thank all of our customers for your tremendous support over the last 30 years and we look forward to servicing your R/C needs for many more still to come and whilst we will miss seeing many of you face to face in the store, we are ready and waiting to now speak on the phones instead or to catch up at the race tracks.
